12: A Black Exodus

Over the past few weeks there have been some stories hitting the front page of our news cycles. Those stories have revolved around a “Quiet Exodus” of black people from majority-white churches. Is this a phenomenon that’s actually happening? What are the Biblical reasons for leaving a church?

Passage of the day:
"And let us consider how to stir up one another to love and good works, not neglecting to meet together, as is the habit of some, but encouraging one another, and all the more as you see the Day drawing near” (Hebrews 10:24-25, ESV).
